Terms of Service
These terms govern access to Torah University’s website, courses, community and connected services. By using TU, you agree to use the platform lawfully, respectfully and in a way that protects other learners.

Educational service
Torah University provides educational content, guided study, community features and related services. Course completion, XP, belts and progress displays describe participation within TU; they are not accredited academic degrees, professional licenses or measures of personal or spiritual worth.
Torah learning may involve interpretation and judgment. Generated or draft material is reviewed according to the controls shown in the platform, but students should bring significant halachic or personal questions to an appropriate qualified rabbi or professional.
Accounts and acceptable use
- Provide accurate account information and protect access to your signed-in account.
- Do not impersonate another person, interfere with the service, probe private records or attempt to bypass access controls.
- Use community and messaging features respectfully; do not harass, threaten, spam or publish another person’s private information.
- Do not upload material you lack the right to use or use TU content in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.
Memberships and purchases
Prices, access levels and billing intervals are shown before checkout. Payments are processed through Square. Recurring memberships continue according to the checkout terms until cancelled through the available billing or support process. Merchandise availability, fulfillment and shipping depend on the applicable product and connected fulfillment service.
If a price, access level or order status appears incorrect, contact TU before repeating the transaction. Refund or cancellation questions are reviewed according to the purchase circumstances and applicable law.
Content and intellectual property
TU’s original lessons, visual identity, software and course organization are protected materials. Students may use provided downloads for their own learning unless a resource states otherwise. External Torah texts, videos, images and links remain subject to their respective owners’ terms and licenses; a link does not imply a formal partnership.
A user retains rights in material the user submits, while granting TU the limited permission needed to store, display and process that material for the feature the user selected. Public community posts may be visible to other TU members as indicated in the interface.
Availability and changes
TU may update courses, features, schedules and these terms as the school develops. We work to keep the service available and accurate, but do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every external integration will always be available. Consequential curriculum publication and public communication remain subject to TU’s review practices.
Suspension, termination and responsibility
TU may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect students, comply with law, address nonpayment or respond to misuse. A user may stop using TU and may request account deletion under the Data Deletion Instructions.
To the extent permitted by law, TU is not responsible for indirect losses arising from service interruption, third-party services or misuse of the platform. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
